多相催化加氢：木质素加氢脱氧制芳烃，糠醛加氢制二醇。

电催化分解水：析氢，析氧，全分解水。

主要学术成果

围绕生物质衍生化合物加氢制精细化学品，获得了湖南省自然科学基金项目、湖南省教育厅重点项目等。以第一/通讯作者在Advanced Energy Materials, ACS Sustainable Chemistry Engineering, Bioresource Technology, Inorganic Chemistry, Fuel等SCI期刊发表论文十余篇，获中国发明专利1项。

承担项目：

1、1T-MoS₂基面单原子金属-缺陷界面的可控构筑及加氢脱氧协同机制研究，湖南省教育厅重点项目（24A0468），主持，2024-2027。

2、师范类专业认证背景下化学专业课程体系的建设与优化，湖南省普通高校教学改革项目（HNJG-2021-0776），主持，2021-2023。

个人简介

曹兢，1991年出生，湖南益阳人，副教授，硕士生导师。2013年本科毕业于湖南师范大学化学化工学院，同年被保送到南开大学化学学院，2019年获理学博士学位。2019年7月进入湖南理工大学化学化工学院工作，获湖南省普通高等学校课程思政教学竞赛一等奖，湖南省研究生课程思政教学竞赛一等奖，湖南省普通高校教师教学创新大赛二等奖。
