个人和研究方向简介：

1972年生，男，博士，教授，硕士生导师。

刘宇教授10多年来主要从事动物多肽毒素的结构与功能研究，阐明了蜘蛛毒素HNTX-III的结构与功能。建立了多肽高效合成技术平台，为岳阳本地生物制药企业提供多肽药物合成工艺技术保障。目前指导硕士研究生2名，培养了一大批本科生。主持省部级研究项目5项。以第一作者或通讯作者发表论文30余篇，其中SCI论文20余篇。
